Senior Spotlight - Julianna Beltran
1.) What are your plans after high school (college, workforce, future profession)?
My plans after high school are to go to Highland Community College for two years and then transfer to do cheerleading while focusing on studying for a nursing major and then becoming a neonatal nurse for my career.
2. What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?
The biggest change for me between freshman and senior year is that my confidence has grown a lot. Walking into freshman year is a little bit intimidating, so making friends, having fun, and working hard to get good grades really helped my confidence grow.
3. What person do you look up to the most and why?
The person I look up to most in my life is my mom. My mom has had the biggest impact on me. My mom is my best friend and has been there for me through it all. My mom is not only someone I look up to but also the biggest supporter in life.
4. What will you miss most about Forreston High School?
The thing I will miss most about high school is some of the teachers I really look up to. A few teachers have played a huge part in my life, and it will be hard not getting to see them every day of the week.
5. What advice would you give incoming freshmen?
The advice I’d give incoming freshmen is to enjoy your high school years before they are gone and don’t be afraid to be yourself. Four years seems like a long time, but I remember being a freshman like it was yesterday. Being involved, attend sporting events, making friends, and doing the best you can in academics is very important to enjoy high school and have success.
