Aerospace Engineering
Forreston High School students in Aerospace Engineering went on a field trip to Albertus Airport southeast of Freeport on Wednesday, Oct 19th. The eleven students got to sit inside of two Cessna cockpits and try out the different control mechanisms. Students also saw some historic airplanes in the hangar and watch 3 airplanes takeoff.
Many thanks to Angie Janssen, airport manager, and pilot Dana McNeil for showing the students airplanes today. The photo shows students who attended in front of a T-28 Navy airplane. It was a neat experience for all involved.
